No Man's Land Film Festival is an all-woman adventure film festival based out of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado that meets a need and desire to highlight and connect individuals who identify as women in pursuit of the radical. This evening's event will feature films from Diversify Our Outdoors; a celebration of stories of black and brown women owning their space in the outdoors. From the inspiring stories of Serena Williams, to Jamaica's surf girls, to two Ethiopian women taking on their first 100 mile ultra run relay race, these films will keep you engaged from start to finish. You will receive a Zoom link to view the movie prior to the event date.
GirlTrek is the largest public health nonprofit for African-American women and girls in the United States. With nearly 100,000 neighborhood walkers, GirlTrek encourages women to use walking as a practical first step to inspire healthy living, families and communities. As women organize walking teams, they mobilize community members to support monthly advocacy efforts and lead a civil rights-inspired health movement. GirlTrek's mission is to inspire one million African-American women and girls to develop a daily habit of walking.
